Rod Lee, Physics and Astronomy Faculty at Portland Community College (28 years teaching), will take us on a journey through:
• What makes Titan unique among the moons of our solar system
• Titan’s thick atmosphere, methane lakes, rivers, and rain
• How Titan compares to Earth—and why it is sometimes called an “Earth-like” world
• What scientists have discovered about Titan and what mysteries remain
• The exciting possibilities for future exploration and what Titan might teach us about the origins of life
