Plant & Art Shop Retail Associate
$18/hour | 20-30 hours week | Evenings & Weekends Required
About Our Shop
We are a boutique plant and art shop that blends greenery, creativity, and community. Our space is warm, curated, and design-forward — part plant haven, part creative studio. We host art classes almost daily and pride ourselves on keeping the shop beautiful, welcoming, and inspiring.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves plants, appreciates aesthetics, and thrives in an organized, hands-on environment.
What You’ll Do
- Care for and maintain a wide variety of indoor plants (watering, pruning, pest management, overall health)
- Confidently answer customer plant care questions and offer recommendations
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays
- Operate POS and iPad; troubleshoot minor tech issues when needed
- Assist with daily art class setup and breakdown (includes lifting and moving tables, chairs, and supplies)
- Help keep the shop feeling fresh, curated, and inviting
What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of indoor plants (this is essential)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
- Comfortable with technology and problem-solving
- Physically able to lift and move merchandise and furniture regularly
- Available evenings and weekends
We are a small boutique shop and rely heavily on each team member. This position is best suited for someone with stable, dependable availability and minimal scheduling conflicts.
